How it all started

 

Mencap sent a letter out to see if we would like to apply for a grant to set up a project for our club.

Yvonne Davies kindly agreed to set up a new section in club called the Arts & Crafts,so we filled the form in and waited to hear if we were succesful.

After a short wait a letter arrived to say we would be receiving a cheque for £500 to help set up the section and the club will be adding to this grant to make it a success.

Items were bought and soon the members were making cards and pictures.

A very big thank you goes to Mencap for making this project possible.

The members have really taken part in this project and quite often more tables are added due to the high numbers wishing to take part.

Various cards have been made including Easter,Valentine,Christmas etc.

If there is no themed card making the members paint,colour,paste or draw pictures of their choice.

A Big thank you goes out to Pam and Dorothy for the Support and time they both give the members while making there Cards etc.
